The Fluke 805 FC is highly reliable and provides consistent measurement data. The data can be retrieved from the cloud via the app. The Fluke Connect app enables easy and fast working on your mobile phone, tablet, and PC. Machine profiles can be created, and maintenance routes can be defined and optimized. At the same time, trend profiles can be quickly and systematically viewed and evaluated in prescribed Excel templates (connection via USB).

The device is easy to use. A combination force sensor tip and vibration sensor compensates for user variance (force or angle) yielding in accurate, repeatable readings. The Fluke 805 FC Vibration Tester is ideally suited for cooling systems, fans, cooling tower drives, centrifugal pumps, displacement pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, or even machine tools.

A key feature of the Fluke 805 FC is the Crest Factor+ mode for bearing condition

The actual crest factor is used by vibration measurement technicians to analyze bearing failures. The crest factor is the ratio of peak value and effective value (RMS) of the vibration in the time domain. A major limitation in using the crest factor by itself to analyze bearing failures is the fact that the crest factor does not behave inversely proportional to bearing decay. The crest factor may even decrease with large RMS values when the bearing is facing catastrophic failure. To overcome this limitation, Fluke uses a proprietary algorithm called Crest Factor+ (CF+). The CF+ values range from 1 to 16. If the bearing condition deteriorates, the CF+ value increases. For simplicity's sake, Fluke has also introduced a four-level severity scale that categorizes the bearing condition in Good, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory, or Unacceptable.
